Steampunk Victorian typewriter key letter CUFFLINKS cuff links 9-3/4 Harry Potter

These are a great pair of cufflinks made from the keys of vintage Smith-Corona typewriters from the 1930s and 1940s. The typewriter keys are 5/8" (15mm) in diameter and although the number keys are lightweight, the new silver cufflink metal adds weight so they feel substantial without weighing down your sleeve.
Shiny black vintage typewriter keys were glued on to new sturdy silver steel cufflink bases. A new steel washer surrounds the cufflink stud and the tabs on the steel ring around the typewriter key are folded over with pliers to secure everything together. Very sturdy design. These are actual typewriter keys that have been used so some signs of use might be visible - I think that only adds to their charm. I try to show any scratches or other signs of wear in the photos so look carefully and let me know if you have questions!
